Hey Susan, thanks for posting a photo of my totem bird! All New World vultures have those great see-through nostrils--gotta love seeing the sky through your nostril.
And Bill of the Birds just posted about vultures, too. As far as I'm concerned there should be an all-vulture, all-the-time blog. i'd bookmark it.
Oh man! O LOVE turkey vultures! That's a great picture.
