A neighborly visit

This is Tyler. Yes, he's a Boston, but at 31 pounds he makes Chet Baker look like, well, a chihuahua. Hey, is anybody home????

Boston terrier

I've probably never mentioned what gracious hostesses our pups are when other dogs come for a visit...

because they're not!

Just look at big Tyler - all smiley - who wouldn't love him??? Well, I don't profess to be a perfect translator of "chihuahua-speak", but I'm pretty sure that they're not saying "Come on in! Make yourself at home!"

what ever happened with your skink?

I never did catch him. He kept showing up in the aviary, but before I could get in there to catch him, he would slip under the door to my "bird work room". In that room he had plenty of hiding spaces, behind shelves, etc. After about a week, I was about ready to elevate him to "pet status" and give him a name, but I didn't see him anymore. I assume he found his way back to the great outdoors & I wish him the best!

Silly, silly chee-wee-wee's.Have they been talking to the French poodles in New York? (To be fair to your pups, Baker would bark himself silly if another dog stared in his front door.) Tyler is absolutely gorgeous, if a tad round in the haunch by Baker standards. Chetty's starting to fill out, though, tipping the scales at about 22.4 lb. The upper standard for the breed's supposed to be 25 lb.I suspect those googly eyes and sad jowls get them a few too many treats. We shared an ice cream bar last night...

Julie - I hear you - our pups get a little scoop of ice cream almost every night and Chiquita (the younger one) can hear a can of Pringles opening from a mile away!

Definitely meater that Chet Baker. But still a cutie.
Our dog, Nellie, THINKS she is a tiny dog like your guys. But she's a 70 pound bundle of dumbness, and she likes to get into laps!
BTW: I have had your blog in my favorites in Internet Explorer for ages, and I have just re-discovered it. I'm so glad!
