Houseboat jumping

We sold our little houseboat last year and have regretted it ever since. I think my husband checks ebay almost every day, trying to find a replacement. So far, they've all been too big, too expensive or too far away.

Not only did it make a fun jumping platform for the kids, it could be used as a guest bedroom when we had a full house.

Aaawww... that looks SO FUN!! Was the houseboat alot to maintain? I always dreamed about living on a houseboat when I was a little girl.

Does look fun! My DH has *ideas* about a boat (heaven help me!), but he's thinking of something like a pontoon boat that won't ever tip over.

It was fun & yes, there was quite a bit of maintenance. Just keeping it "spider free" was quite a job - especially if we accidentally left the door open overnight. North Carolina spiders are big and plentiful. The 15 year old engine always seemed to need something & our boat repair guy was sorry to see it go - lol.
