Little fuzzy bobbers!

Yesterday evening, I saw a group of eight little ducklings, being chivied along the swift-flowing Penns Creek by two female mallards, with the male mallard trailing behind. Is this some sort of harem situation?
These are beautiful photos of the little "fuzz balls!"
Great pictures! My parents live on Lake Gaston, and we love visiting up there! I've just started a birdwatching blog (mostly on bluebirds) and would love your comments!
