Our next project - Osprey Platform


Here's a photo of my husband getting started on the next project on his crazy wife's wish list. Yes honey, we do need an osprey nesting platform... I searched the web for plans and we decided to go with those of the NJ Dept of Fish & Wildlife. Our progress so far - choosing a location and buying the materials.

How exciting, Susan! I hope you find your new platform with a full family of Osprey's in the Spring!

Please let us see the finished job. I wonder how close it will be to your house.

Gosh... i'm so jealous to have a osprey platform in my own yard! Just think of the pics you'll get.

We're putting it in right at the lake front which is about 200 feet from our house. we're hoping to be able to see it from our deck, but our view might be blocked by a pine tree.
Cindy, yes I do have a terrific husband & Laura, I just hope they nest there so I get an opportunity for pics.
