Cape May State Park

I'm blogging with fellow bloggers Susan, Delia and Laura at Cabana's bar in Cape May. No wireless at our inn unless we sit outside & it's cold and late. So we thought we would be dorks and take our laptops to a bar.

I'm guessing that they will be posting photos of birds, so I thought I'd go a different route - kids, a dog and a crab -

Wow, you got right on that little guy! It's kinda freaking me out to know i was there when you took those photos and even when you wrote these words!

And OH MY GOD people, Susan wasn't kidding about the dork part. it's incredibly loud in here, and the young whippersnappers are all hanging out and trying to be cool. But at least there's wireless!

The crab shot is great - we'll have to figure out what that was.

The afternoon light today when the sun finally came out was so beautiful and your pics show that so well.

It's been so nice meeting you, Susan. Hope you're having a good time!

It was so great to see you, Susan. And I think you were the stabilizing force in this group.

The crab is a Ghost Crab--Ocypode quadrata.

It was great to meet you all. Wish I had more time to spend hanging out with you gulls.

We are in a good spot for birding in DE if you ever want to visit!

Delia, Laura, Susan - It was great hanging with you - loved it! Liz, it was really nice to meet you too & right back at you (all of you) with an invitation to visit us anytime in North Carolina.
Liz, thanks for the id on the crab - you're a wealth of knowledge!
Mary - wish you could have been there - next time I hope!
