White Boy, our little blind finch, seems to be doing quite well in the aviary. I was worried about him for a few days. He seemed to have no trouble locating food (I have feeders hanging all over the aviary), but I never saw him drink from the water bottles. So a couple of times a day, I would take a shallow bowl of water and nudge it up to his chest and he would usually hop up for a drink. But today I saw him drink from one of the water bottles and he also found the bird bath water which I put in the aviary each afternoon.

birds need bird baths year round, especially in some parts of the country that seem to be out of the grip of Jack Frost. Instead of putting your bird bath inside during the winter, purchase a model that can remain outdoors for the entire year. Find out more about bird droppings

If space permits, consider creating a sanctuary for the birds in your area. Use stylish bird baths to add style and flair to your yard or garden. Since running water is popular with birds, often enticing them to visit your bird bath over a neighbor's bird bath, use a fountain bird bath to add a special touch.
